Here's a collection of some of the photos I was able to get from facebook, to those who willingly shared their photos, THANK YOU so much...and para naman po dun sa mga hanggang ngayon di pa nakapag confirm na pwedeng i-share yung photos, SORRY po, di na po nakapag antay, just message me if you have any problem with me/us posting the photos, I'd gladly take it off for you.

The owner of the pictures are the following (please click on their names to redirect you to their facebook accounts where you can find more of their pictures):

In the meantime, enjoy!

Oh by the way, may music po yung video, so paki pause na lang muna po yung music player sa kaliwa ng screen nyo, yung may nakalagay pong Capalonga playlist (MP3-codes.com), para hindi po kayo marindi =))

Please comment away, and/or mail your photos at ccn4607@gmail.com or just tag us with it via capalonga facebook.

Panahon na naman

Remember the time when you squeeze yourself in every possible vehicle traveling to Capalonga no matter how cramped they are, or even if you do not know the driver at all?  Rain or shine, paot o lubak, come what may?

They say all roads lead to Capalonga during the 3-day celebration of our Town's fiesta.

As I am doing this post, my little counter up there says it's 7 days 21 hours and 48 minutes and some 15 seconds before May 12, the usual peak moment of the celebration.

Where will you be on that day?  I know where I'll be...and if you're back home in Capalonga, you have no idea how lucky you are.

Here's a video I dedicate to everyone who misses Capalonga and everyone and everything in it.  Happy Fiesta mga Kabihug, keep the faith.

Turn that volume up...pause the little media player in the left side of the blog for a moment, please.  I hope you all like it.

DISCLAIMERNONE of the pictures are mine, most of them were from the internet and some were from Buen, Menchie and Melay.  Thanks to all of you. Please note that the people pictured are not all from Capalonga, that is the trouble of not having much pictures to share.

Don't be shy to comment away...and maybe share your photos so next time we will be able to show your pictures here.  Our inbox is always open, stash 'em up at ccn4607@gmail.com

Palong Festival 2009

Here are two videos I found in youtube of the Palong Festival, being held every Fiesta in Capalonga.  Different barangays participate with colorful and ethnic costume and flashy high-energy dance moves, in the streets and in the plaza.  Winners get high prizes from the sponsors (so I've heard).

The videos are owned by whellaj, no copyright infringement intended.

If you have more videos, or you knew of some that we can share here, please send them to me at ccn4607@gmail.com

Thanks!
