ACHIEVEMENT is, to spend life for something which outlasts it. It's by William James, a psychologist.
Below are some of the pictures taken during the event, we can just see how overwhelming the response of our kababayans in the outreach. (or maybe include the real Bihugs next time?)
Enjoy the photos, word of caution though, some are a little graphic. Please click the photo for a much larger image.
Mukhang mabili ang dental
'kuuh Nini, lagot.
O ayan, mag candy muna kayo
Umulan?
MABUHAY kayo!
Maraming salamat po kay Jude Fermo Abiera for sharing the pictures. She still has more of the images from the event, if you want to see, click on her facebook photo album HERE or follow through HERE. She also posted the event in her Friendster, you can view it HERE.
Your comments/feedback are highly appreciated, the pictures that you share are even more appreciated. Remember, we can bridge the gap, even just from a single photo.
Salamat po sa inyong lahat.
EDIT (27May2010)
The medical mission was funded by the Fermo clan headed by Mrs Vilma Fermo Jeffries from the USA, and they are planning another one next year. Who's up for some volunteering, guys? Anyway, I do not have the information (as of today) of who to contact in case the plan pushed through, but Jude Fermo Abiera who shared us these heart warming photos will surely inform us when the time comes. If Mrs Vilma has an FB, can you hook us up to her so we'll be informed, or at least extend her our warmest gratitude?
We are so proud to have people like you extending your good fortune to everyone, to CapalogueƱos, particularly. And kudos too to all who volunteered that day. We might not be able to name all of you, nor post pictures of all those who helped, but I think the people you helped that day will have your helping hand etched in their hearts forever. As mentioned above, a piece of paper is not enough to tell you how grateful everybody is (never was).
Good job! Mabuhay po kayo.
