A candle for hope and courage

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 'light a candle' campaign we've made for our Kabihugs in Japan.  Of course, we know we can do better than just lighting a candle or changing our profile pictures.  We can donate through various international organizations to help ease the situation in Japan, not just for the sake of our many Kabihugs working and living there but also to every one who lives in there.

But we can start from here.

You know how internet and facebook for that matter affect our daily lives, that we turn to our facebook pages to see who sent us a message, who posted in our walls or who posted pictures of everything that's happening around us?  Seeing pictures of our little tribute to our Kabihugs--of a lighted candle, brings smiles, hope and a lot of courage for this especially difficult times in their lives.

So go ahead and light your own candles in your houses...say a little prayer not just for the Capalonga population in Japan but for all of them Japanese, affected or not.  Or better yet, show them you care--that you have them in your prayers, in your thoughts.

"There is not enough darkness in all the world to put out the light of even one small candle."--Robert Alden
